Cairo – The Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo is happy to announce the call for applications to the English Language Microscholarship program class of 2021-2023 begins on Thursday, April 1 and will last until April 30, 2021.  

Fully funded by the U.S. Department of State in cooperation with the American University in Cairo and AMIDEAST, the English Access Microscholarship Program provides Egyptian students aged 13-18 with two years of intensive English language learning and life skills and the opportunity to participate in extracurricular language training and leadership activities. Since 2006, more than 5,000 Egyptian youth have participated in the Access Program.  

RELO has conducted the Access program in every region of Egypt through our local implementing partners.We are recruiting this group of scholars  from the governorates of Cairo, Tanta, Port Said, Alexandria, Hurghada, Minya, Sohag, Luxor, and Aswan.  We will also recruit visually impaired students in Cairo.
