  • Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)
    The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) primarily focuses on these areas:

    1. coordinating trade policy issues with host government officials, and
    2. promoting the sale of U.S. food, agricultural, forestry, and fisheries products for each of the covered countries. As part of this work, the office provides trade services for local importing companies who wish to buy American goods, and to U.S. companies who are developing new markets or expanding established ones.
