Event:  Notice by CDC of Temporary Suspension of Dogs Entering the United States from Egypt

On May 10, 2019, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published a Federal Register Notice titled, “Notice of Temporary Suspension of Dogs Entering the United States from Egypt.”

The U.S. Embassy encourages pet owners who may be affected to review this notice at: https://www.cdc.gov/importation/bringing-an-animal-into-the-united-states/Egypt-dogs-temp-suspension.html and to communicate directly with the CDC at the email CDCanimalimports@cdc.gov, at least 10 business days before you intend to enter the United States.
