Event: Shooting Range in Waadi Degla
U.S. citizens are advised that a shooting range is located approximately 500 meters to the northeast of the Maadi entrance to the Waadi Degla Protectorate. The range operates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; the range also may be in operation at other times. Visitors to the Protectorate may occasionally hear range operations when visiting and should exercise caution, as stray bullets occasionally could strike either the northern or southern plateaus. U.S. citizens are advised to depart the area in the event they hear gunfire and avoid the Waadi Degla when the range is in use.
