The U.S. Embassy condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack today in Cairo that killed several police officers. These officers gave their lives helping keep the city safe for their fellow citizens, visitors, and all who live here. We grieve with their families and friends, and we extend our wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.
