U.S. EXIM Bank Chairman Visits Cairo

Cairo – Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of United States, Fred P. Hochberg, is visiting Cairo today and tomorrow to meet with government officials and private sector leaders to explore opportunities for trade and investment in Egypt.

“We are pleased to again be able to support long-term business in Egypt,” said Hochberg prior to his visit. “There is a robust pipeline of investment projects already underway, and I look forward to learning about further opportunities to bolster trade and investment between our two countries.”

During his six years of leadership, Chairman Hochberg has worked to expand the global footprint of key domestic industries in which U.S. exporters have a comparative advantage, such as renewable energy, space technology, construction and farm machinery, medical technology, agriculture, and avionics.
